Joëlle Preston is a French-Canadian and Ukrainian visual artist, born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is the founder, curator, and designer for Oliva + Olga, her upcycled jewelry brand named after her grandmothers. With a focus on reviving vintage, broken and unloved jewelry by repurposing and redesigning them into new again adornments, she creates assemblage statement jewelry inspired by classical art, antiquities, and artistic elements from the Renaissance to Art Deco periods.
