Inspired the blooms and architecture of Annecy, France, this piece evokes the romantic character of the “Venice of the Alps.” Renowned for its abundant floral displays, the town unfolds around crystal-clear waterways, flower-adorned footbridges, and the striking stone architecture of its medieval Palais de l’Île, a former prison now home to a museum. Swans glide along the waters of the Thiou, weaving through the flower-filled streets and bridges that have made Annecy one of the Alps’ most enchanting towns.
The Gemini Series is a collection of upcycled necklaces built around the language of duality. Each piece brings together two distinct designs, paired in deliberate tension: mirror images, opposing forms, contrasting materials, or elements that seem to belong to different worlds yet find harmony when worn together. Like a mirror, each side reflects and reframes the other.
Constructed from thoughtfully sourced vintage and secondhand jewellery, the series gives disparate objects a new relationship and a new life. Familiar fragments become something unexpected: not matched, but complementary; not identical, but inseparable.
Each necklace is a study in correspondence, contrast, and transformation, where two distinct identities come together to create a singular statement.

Renaissance pieces are (re)designed and hand made in Canada fom discarded, broken, and pre-loved jewelry. All parts and pieces used in the creation of jewelry are carefully selected by the maker despite imperfections and signs of wear. Asymmetrical designs and differentiation in pieces and colours are intentional. Each design is unique and one of a kind.
